The Hi Umrah platform does not collect date of birth at account creation. Age information is only collected at the booking step, where the user provides each traveler's date of birth to assemble the passenger list.
We read passport data from the Machine Readable Zone (MRZ) to verify the traveler's name, passport number, nationality, date of birth, and passport expiry. This check is used to confirm that every booking includes at least one adult passenger (18 years or older) and that the passport is valid against the entry requirements for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Syrian national ID (10 or 11 digits) is collected only for adult passengers during booking. Children and infants are not required to provide a national ID, only a passport.
Passport and ID images are individually encrypted before storage, and are used only to process the booking and to share with the travel agency you booked with. These documents are automatically deleted after the trip ends according to the retention period defined by the platform administration, and you can request manual deletion at any time via our support email.
We use cookies on various pages of our site to enable certain functions and improve the user experience. Cookies are small pieces of information stored on your device and associated with information about you.
Some cookies are temporary and are deleted after closing the browser, while others are persistent and remain on your device, allowing us to recognize your device on future visits. These files track clicks and activity on the Site.

We share traveler data only with the travel agency you booked with, for the purpose of completing the booking and travel procedures. We do not sell your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes.

We may also share your information if we believe in good faith that it is necessary to protect our interests or a third party's interest in law enforcement, criminal investigation, protecting any person's safety, or preventing imminent physical harm.

We retain your personal data while your account is active. Sensitive documents (passport and ID scans) are automatically and permanently deleted from our systems after the trip ends according to the platform administration's defined retention policy.
